Days of Poland Festival

Days of Poland Festival in London

Days of Poland was a Polish cultural festival created and project managed by 2Sisters PR. Held every May at Potters Fields Park on London’s South Bank, the festival brought Polish culture into one of the capital’s most recognisable public spaces.

The event introduced London residents and visitors to traditional and contemporary Polish music, dance, arts, culture and cuisine. It was designed as a family-friendly celebration, with children’s activities, Polish national dancing, live performances and appearances from well-known Polish artists.

Objective

Our objective was to create and grow a major Polish cultural event in London, promoting Polish culture in Great Britain and strengthening the visibility of the Polish community in the UK.

The festival was created to appeal not only to Polish audiences, but also to Londoners and international visitors interested in discovering Polish food, music, culture and traditions.

Campaign

2Sisters PR created, project managed and promoted Days of Poland Festival from the ground up.

Our work covered the full event and marketing delivery, including website creation and management, website copywriting, campaign copy, meta descriptions, SEO-focused content, social media creation and management, PR strategy, marketing strategy, media buying, sponsorship outreach, blogger and influencer outreach, leaflet creation and distribution, email marketing and wider promotional campaigns.

We were also responsible for event logistics, helping to bring together performers, partners, sponsors, media, suppliers and community groups.

The 2014 festival focused strongly on promotion through Polish press in the UK, while later editions placed greater emphasis on online promotion, social media engagement, sponsorship growth and wider community outreach.

Results

Days of Poland grew into one of the biggest and most prestigious Polish festivals held in the UK.

Each edition of the festival was supported by the then Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, helping strengthen the event’s profile and credibility.

The festival attracted strong community engagement and regular media interest, with coverage from Polish and European media outlets. It continued to grow year after year, becoming an important cultural event for the Polish community in London.

The event was held annually from 2014 to 2018.
