Oakam offered simple, accessible financial services for people who were often unable to access traditional bank loans. Its customer base included many people who had recently moved to the UK and did not yet have an established credit history.
Over the years, Oakam supported thousands of customers who needed a more flexible route to borrowing, building trust within communities that were often underserved by mainstream financial institutions.
Objective
Our objective was to promote Oakam’s services to Polish and Romanian communities in the UK, increasing brand awareness, building trust and helping the company reach new customers.
Campaign
We created and delivered a targeted marketing and PR campaign focused on Polish and Romanian audiences living in the UK.
The campaign included advertising on radio, promotional activity on buses travelling between Poland and London, and visibility on TV screens in local Polish stores.
We also managed the distribution of promotional materials within Polish and Romanian communities, advised on social media and content, and supported Oakam with PR activity, sponsorship opportunities and media outreach.
The aim was to make Oakam more visible, more trusted and easier to understand for communities who may not have been familiar with the brand.
Results
The campaign reached tens of thousands of potential customers and helped communicate Oakam’s story to the right audiences.
We secured coverage in prominent Polish media outlets, including Polska The Times, Echo Dnia, Dziennik Zachodni and Gazeta Lubelska.
The activity helped increase awareness of Oakam among Polish and Romanian communities in the UK and supported the company’s wider customer acquisition goals.
